After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 85-591, supporting the Oakland Scavenger Company amendment to the County Solid Waste Master Plan for San Francisco Import, and directing Councilmember Mercer to vote in favor of this matter at the Authority meeting, be adopted. Mayor Brandes presented a letter from Roger Manning dated December 17, 1985, supporting the ordinance as drafted by the City Attorney. He encouraged Council to waive the fees required for a conditional use permit relative to this matter. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mer- cer, that Ordinance No. 1238, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, permitting skateboard ramps as conditional uses in residen- tial districts, be introduced.
