MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> December 3, 1985 <br /> <br /> CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Frank C. Brandes, Jr., called the Regular Meeting of the City Coun- <br /> cil to order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br /> ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br /> lows: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes were pres- <br /> ent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, City Attorney, Mr. Beougher, <br /> Assistant City Attorney, Mr. Swift, Director of Planning and Community <br /> Development, Mr. Okamura, Acting Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. <br /> Hill, Fire Chief, and Mr. Smith, Director of Inspection Services, were <br /> present. <br /> <br /> AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item 4f - Acceptance of Deeds from Delta Proper- <br />ties and Reconveyance of Property to C & H Development, be continued to the <br />meeting of December 17, 1985, at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that an item be added to the agenda as item 12b-4 - <br />Drunk Driving Enforcement Program. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that item lOa - Request for Approval to Prepare Work- <br /> ing Drawings for 220 units of Senior Citizen Housing, be removed from the <br /> agenda at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there would be an Executive Session held at the conclu- <br />sion of this meeting to discuss personnel, labor relations, and pending <br />litigation Barbara Ross vs. City. <br /> <br /> Mr. Okamura presented a minor amendment to item 4d - Rescind Resolution <br />No. 85-481 and Adopt a New Resolution Accepting Common Area Easements within <br />Parcel Map 4390 (Andrews/Owens Drive}. <br /> <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, <br />be approved: <br /> <br />a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 11-18-85 and 11-19-85. <br /> <br />b. Adoption of Resolution No, 85-561, approval of Claims for the month of <br /> October 1985, in the amount of $4,679,461.74. <br /> <br />c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1233, implementing the Vesting Tentative Map <br /> provisions of the State Subdivision Map Act by the addition of procedures <br /> to the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> 12-3-85 <br /> - 1 - <br /> <br /> <br />
