San Francisco Water Department Land - East of 1-680 <br /> <br />Parcels 7 and 8 <br />Mr. Lee pointed out that the Residential Review Committee felt <br />this would be an ideal place for residential development'sometime <br />in the future. The City may wish to retain portions of this <br />property as an "urban reserve" for development at a later date. <br /> <br />Councilmember Brandes suggested we might set aside a portion of <br />this property for a cemetery or perhaps put it in reserve. Mayor <br />Mercer also suggested a cemetery. <br /> <br />Mr. Lee said the Industrial Review Committee suggested that the <br />City set aside this property for ten years. <br /> <br />There was a consensus that Parcels 7 & 8 be redesignated to <br />mostly Medium Density Residential with some High Density <br />Residential, Commercial & Office, Public and Institutional and <br />Park & Recreation and designated as an "urban reserve" for <br />development after 1996. <br /> <br />D. Infill Areas <br /> <br />Parcel 9 - Kaiser: Councilman Brandes felt we should.leave the <br />designation as is and if Kaiser builds the hospital, we should <br />make the change at that time. <br /> <br />There was a consensus to redesignate the acreage from Commercial <br />& Office to Public & Institutional. <br /> <br />Parcel 10 - Prudential: There was a consensus to redesignate <br />acreage from General & Light Industrial to Industrial, Commercial <br />& Office. <br /> <br />Parcel 11 - CPS: There was a consensus to redesignate acreage <br />from HDR to VHDR. <br /> <br />Parcel 12 - Ponderosa: There was a consensus to redesignate <br />acreage from MDR to HDR. <br /> <br />Parcel 13 - Various Owners: There was a consensus to redesignate <br />acreage from MDR to HDR. <br /> <br />Parcel 14 - Various Owners: There was a consensus to redesignate <br />acreage to indicate a mix of MDR and HDR. <br /> <br />Parcel 15 - Marsh: Commissioner Wilson felt this is not a good <br />site for a residential area because of gravel trucks and noise. <br /> <br />There was a consensus to redesignate this area to a mix of Low <br />Density Residential and Medium Density Residential. <br /> <br />Parcel 16 - Various Owners: There was a consensus that this <br />should have a "Specific Plan" designation. <br /> <br /> - 4 - <br /> <br /> <br />
