It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, <br /> that Resolution No. 85-448, approval of PUD-81-30-32D, application of the Koll <br /> Company for design review approval to construct a two-story, 107,000 sq. ft. <br /> garden office complex on an approximately 7.3 acre site located on the <br /> southeast corner of West Las Positas Boulevard and Hopyard Road (Lot 20, <br /> Hacienda Business Park), subject to all conditions contained in Staff Report <br /> 85:457, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />PUD-81-30-31D, Application of Callahan-Pentz Properties for design review ap- <br />proval for a single-story, 40,725' sq. ft. office/research and development <br />building on an approximately 2.7 acre site, located on the west side of Willow <br />Road between Stoneridge Drive and Gibraltar Drive. Zoning for the property is <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Industrial, Commercial and Offices District <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:441) dated September 17, 1985, <br /> regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Pat O'Brien, representing Callahan Pentz Properties, presented render- <br />ings and a model of the proposed project. He stated he concurred with the <br />conditions set forth in the Planning Commission action. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 85-449, approval of PUD-81-30-31D, application of <br />Callahan-Pentz Properties for design review approval for a single-story, <br />40,725 sq. ft. office/research and development building on an approximately <br />2.7 acre site, located on the west side of Willow Road between Stoneridge <br />Drive and Gibraltar Drive, subject to all conditions contained in Planning <br />Commission Resolution No. 2697, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />AP-85-15, Appeal of a decision of the Board of Adjustment denying the applia- <br />tion of Gene Finch for a variance from the Ordinance Code to increase the <br />maximum buildable floor area allowed for property participating in a parking <br />assessment district to facilitate construction of an addition to an existing <br />commercial structure at 649 Main Street. Zoning for the property is CC (Cen- <br />tral Commercial) District <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 85:456) dated Setpember 17, 1985, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gene Finch, applicant, presented a site plan showing the proposed ad- <br />dition to his building at 649 Main Street.
