City Attorney advised that the City has a contract with Southern Pacific to abandon the tracks by May 1, 1986. No action was required or taken by Council on this item. REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY Setting Special Election on April 8, 1986, Re: Proposition 4 Funds Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 86:11) dated December 31, 1985, regarding this matter. He made two minor amendments to his report regarding dates in February. Mr. Ben Tarver, 1144 Arak Court, expressed concern that all the proposed projects to be funded by Proposition 4 are lumped togehter; he would like to vote separately on each project, thus allowing the voters to set the priorities. It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution no. 86-09, calling a special election for April 8, 1986 regarding initiative ordinance regarding Proposition 4 revenues and related matters, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes NOES: None ABSENT: None COMMUNICATIONS There were no communications presented at this meeting. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of Council. EXECUTIVE SESSION Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:10 p.m., to discuss pending litigation Barbara Ross vs. City. Mayor Brandes reconvened the meeting at 9:40 p.m. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 9:45 p.m., it was moved by Councilmem- ber Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session on January 21, 1986, 8:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers.
