City Attorney advised that the City has a contract with Southern Pacific to <br />abandon the tracks by May 1, 1986. No action was required or taken by Council <br />on this item. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br />Setting Special Election on April 8, 1986, Re: Proposition 4 Funds <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 86:11) dated December 31, 1985, <br />regarding this matter. He made two minor amendments to his report regarding <br />dates in February. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ben Tarver, 1144 Arak Court, expressed concern that all the proposed <br />projects to be funded by Proposition 4 are lumped togehter; he would like to <br />vote separately on each project, thus allowing the voters to set the <br />priorities. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution no. 86-09, calling a special election for April 8, 1986 <br />regarding initiative ordinance regarding Proposition 4 revenues and related <br />matters, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of <br />Council. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Brandes recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:10 p.m., <br />to discuss pending litigation Barbara Ross vs. City. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes reconvened the meeting at 9:40 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:45 p.m., it was moved by Councilmem- <br />ber Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that the meeting be adjourned <br />to meet again in Regular Session on January 21, 1986, 8:00 p.m., in the <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> R.
