Zoning for the property is "P" (Public and Institutional) District <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 86:01) dated January 7, 1986, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Gregg Mix, 205-B Main Street, one of the applicants, presented back- <br />ground information regarding this piece of property. He advised that since he <br />and his partners have owned the property they have focused on the concerns of <br />the neighbors and working with staff to develop the most viable project for <br />all concerned. He stated that in the proposed project they have retained the <br />views for the existing residents, reduced the unit count, decreased the densi- <br />ty, expanded the sites, and minimized the grading. He presented a rendering <br />of the development, elaborating on how the larger lots were achieved and re- <br />duced density. He concurred with the added Condition No. 20 as presented in <br />the staff report relating to installation of trees along the eastern property <br />line of lots 1, 2, and 3, as well as all other conditions of Planning Commis- <br />sion. He stated that a few neighbors still have some concerns but the project <br />is as well designed as possible to alleviate as many concerns as possible. <br />Mr. Mix stated he has a concern about the purchase offer to buy the stub of <br />property on Abbie Court. He stated the project could be done without that <br />property. He suggested it be dedicated by the City. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. <br /> <br /> Council discussion ensued regarding the city-owned stub of property on <br />Abbie Court. Mr. Swift advised this matter can be addressed at ~ future time. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hear- <br />ing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Ordinance No. 1239, to be read by title only and waiving further reading <br />thereof, approving PUD-85-18, application of Gregg Mix, Roger Manning and Art <br />Dunkley for rezoning and development plan approval for a four unit single- <br />family residential development on an approximately .9 acre site located at the <br />terminus of Abbie Street, subject to conditions set forth in Planning Commis- <br />sion Resolution No. 2734 with the added Condition No. 20 contained in Staff <br />Report 86:01, be introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />RZ-85-17, Application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Zoning Ordinance <br />relating to setbacks required for second story additions in R-l-(Single-family <br />Residential) Districts <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 86:06) dated January 7, 1986, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in favor of or in opposition to this matter. <br /> Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> 4 - 1-7-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
