373 <br /> 1986, by a vote of 4-Ayes, 1-No, and that it was now in order to adopt the <br /> ordinance. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Mayor Brandes, that <br /> Ordinance No. 1255, approval of PUD-85-16, application of Brad Caroline and <br /> Jon Westerlind for rezoning from RM-4000 (Multi-family Residential) District <br /> to the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-High Density Residential District and <br /> development plan approval to construct a two-story, two-unit apartment complex <br /> on an approximately 10,100 sq. ft. site with an existing residence, located at <br /> 3939"Vineyard Avenue, be adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: Councilmembers Butler and Wood <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL REPORTS <br />Proposed Resolutions Establishing a No Parkin Zone on the East Side of <br />Pleasanton Avenue between St. Mary and St. Jo~n and Establishing a Diagonal <br />Parking Zone on St. John Street between the Railroad Tracks and Pleasanton <br />Avenue <br /> Mr. Okamura presented his report (SR 86:212) dated May 20, 1986, regarding <br />this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Brandes presented a letter from Tom Elsnab, 692 St. John Street, <br />dated June 3, 1986, and a letter from Dan Hansford, 648 St. John Street, dated <br />June 3, 1986, both in opposition to the proposed diagonal parking zone. <br /> <br /> Mr. Duane Garman, 670 St. John Street, stated he does not want his neigh- <br />borhood to become a parking lot; it is a nice neighborhood and he would like <br />to retain this characteristic.
