his outstanding dedication in his position as Acting Director of Public Works <br /> and Utilities since the resignation of Mr. Warnick on May 24, 1985. <br /> <br /> presented his report (SR 86:200) dated May 20, 1986, regarding <br /> this matter. After brief discussion, no action was required or taken on the <br /> item. <br /> <br /> Valley Avenue Extension Agreement <br /> Councilmember Butler stated that a subcommittee had been appointed to con- <br />- sider the Valley Avenue extension, and this document is the result of negotia- <br /> tions and is an important agreement necessary to finalize the assessment <br /> district. <br /> <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented the draft agreement and reviewed its contents. He <br /> advised that the agreement has been signed by Mr. Auf der Maur but that Mr. <br /> Rickenbach has yet to sign the document. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br /> that Resolution No. 86-232, approving the Valley Avenue Extension agreement <br /> between the City of Pleasanton and Auf der Maur/Rickenbach, be adopted. <br />Cw') The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, and Mayor Brandes <br />(7) NOES: None <br />~=1 ABSENT: None <br />ILl ABSTAINED:Councilmember Wood <br /> <br /> Reconsideration of Ordinance No. 1253, Application of Lee Reid and Myers <br />~ Development Corporation for rezoning from CS (Commercial Service) District to <br /> <br /> PUD (Planned Unit DevelopmentI-Commercial District and Development Plan ap- <br /> proval for an 800-unit mini-storage facility on an approximately 1.3 acre site <br /> located at 3722 Old Santa Rita Road <br /> Councilmember Mercer stated that at the meeting of May 5, 1986, he had <br /> requested this ordinance be reviewed and after discussion the application was <br /> denied.
