Vhe property is located on <br /> t <br />the southwest corner of the intersection of First Stree and Stanley Boulevard <br />and is currently zoned "A" (Agricultural) District <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Art Dunkley, 205-F Main Street, stated that staff has asked for more <br />time to study this parcel. He requested that the application and negative <br />declaration be continued indefinitely. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mer- <br />cer, that Parcel 29 - Dunkley, .3 acres remain as public health and safety in <br />the general plan; and that GP-85-10, application of Dunkley/Mix for a General <br />Plan amendment to the Land Use Element of the General Plan to redesignate an <br />approximately 0.32 acre parcel from Open Space to Commercial and Offices, lo- <br />cated on the southwest corner of the intersection of First Street and Stanley <br />Boulevard which is ~urrently zoned "A" (Agricultural) District, and accompany- <br />ing Negative Declaration, be continued indefinitely. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Parcel 30 Safreno <br /> <br />GP-86-6, Application of Douglas Safreno to amend the Land Use Element of the <br />General Plan from "High Density Residential" to "Commercial and Offices" for <br />an approximately g,500 square foot site located at 4232 First Street <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report {SR 86:408) dated September 16, 1986, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Douglas Safreno, owner of the property, stated the property line <br />between himself and his neighbor will stay where it is. He stated he concurs <br />with the general plan amendment zoning designation. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, <br />that Resolution No. 86-441, determining on the basis of a review of an initial <br />environmental study done for this project, that no significant environmental <br />impact would occur as outlined in the City's guidelines and that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with GP-86-6, application of Douglas <br />Safreno to amend the Land Use Element of the General Plan from High Density <br />Residential to Commercial and Offices for an approximately 9,500 squre foot <br />site located at 4232 First Street, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> - 26 - 9-16-86 <br /> <br /> <br />
