109 <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, Wood, and Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Mohr requested that Council reconsider the use of the Tri- <br /> Valley income medium, as this will raise rents as much as $43.00, which will <br /> create a hardship on many residents. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by <br /> Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 86-422, amending the growth manage- <br /> ment guidelines for the low income exemption to provide that the Tri-Valley <br /> income median apply only to the North Pleasanton Improvement District, be <br /> adopted. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, and Wood <br /> NOES: Mayor Brandes <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised that there are now two vacancies on the 'Housing Au- <br /> thority Commission. Council determined that the two appointment would be made <br /> from the list to be interviewed on September 8, 1986. Council also determined <br /> that the terms of the positions would be for a full four years plus the four <br /> months remaining on the existing vacant terms. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented his memorandum stating that Council has approved in- <br />..... creasing the number of City representation on the Tri-Valley Community Televi- <br /> sion Corporation Board from one to two members. He advised that two resumes <br /> have been received in connection with this position. Council instructed staff <br /> to advertise for the new Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board <br /> position, with the deadline to be October 1, 1986. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker presented his memorandum regarding Council meeting schedule, <br /> stating that the regularly scheduled meeting of October 21st conflicts with <br /> the League of California Cities Conference which several Councilmembers will <br /> be attending. He advised that the November 4th Council meeting falls on Elec- <br /> tion day. After discussion, Council scheduled Council meetings on October <br /> 28th and November 4th, 1986. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> There was no Executive Session scheduled for this meeting. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 9:30 p.m., it was moved by Councilmem- <br /> ber Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the meeting be adjourned to <br /> meet again in Interview Session on September 8, 1986, 7:00 p.m., in the <br /> Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> <br /> - 7 9-2-85 <br /> <br /> <br />
