Councilmember Mohr requested that Council reconsider the use of the Tri- Valley income medium, as this will raise rents as much as $43.00, which will create a hardship on many residents. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mohr, and seconded by Councilmember Mercer, that Resolution No. 86-422, amending the growth manage- ment guidelines for the low income exemption to provide that the Tri-Valley income median apply only to the North Pleasanton Improvement District, be adopted. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mercer, Mohr, and Wood NOES: Mayor Brandes ABSENT: None COMMUNICATIONS There were no Communications presented at this meeting. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the Council. Mr. Walker advised that there are now two vacancies on the 'Housing Au- thority Commission. Council determined that the two appointment would be made from the list to be interviewed on September 8, 1986. Council also determined that the terms of the positions would be for a full four years plus the four months remaining on the existing vacant terms. Mr. Walker presented his memorandum stating that Council has approved in- ..... creasing the number of City representation on the Tri-Valley Community Televi- sion Corporation Board from one to two members. He advised that two resumes have been received in connection with this position. Council instructed staff to advertise for the new Tri-Valley Community Television Corporation Board position, with the deadline to be October 1, 1986. Mr. Walker presented his memorandum regarding Council meeting schedule, stating that the regularly scheduled meeting of October 21st conflicts with the League of California Cities Conference which several Councilmembers will be attending. He advised that the November 4th Council meeting falls on Elec- tion day. After discussion, Council scheduled Council meetings on October 28th and November 4th, 1986. EXECUTIVE SESSION There was no Executive Session scheduled for this meeting. ADJOURNMENT There being no further business at 9:30 p.m., it was moved by Councilmem- ber Wood, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the meeting be adjourned to meet again in Interview Session on September 8, 1986, 7:00 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers. - 7 9-2-85
