Skateboard Ordinance - Amendment to Require. Mitigation Measures related to Skate Ramps Mr. MacDonald presented his report (SR 86:388} dated August 28, 1986, regarding this matter. Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing open on this item. Ms. Bonnie Streitz, 370 Mavis Drive, asked if this ordinance would supercede the requirement that skateboards not be used on Sundays. The City Attorney advised the proposed ordinance would not affect the restriction of Sunday use of skateboards for those ramps already in existence. There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hear- ing closed on this item. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember Wood, that Ordinance No. 1283, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, relating to regulation of noise created by skateboard ramps, and adding a clause prohibiting the use of skateboard ramps on Sunday, be introduced.
