453 <br /> Councilmember Wilson stated the banking policy has worked well for <br /> fourteen years and he felt it would be wrong to change it now. He felt the <br /> study should go on as scheduled. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Butler stated that although he voted to review each banking <br /> application on a case by case basis, he did not feel it would be appropriate <br /> to go back and take a different look at it; he was not in favor of <br /> reconsidering this matter until after completion of the study. <br /> <br /> Vice Mayor Mohr stated she supports staff recommendations to review the <br /> policy in the context of the Downtown Specific Plan. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the policy was established fourteen years ago <br /> before North Pleasanton existed. He moved to reconsider the matter at this <br /> time. <br /> <br /> The motion died for lack of a second. <br /> <br /> Mayor'Mercer took over the meeting at this time. <br /> <br /> REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no report of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br /> CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br /> Council. <br /> <br /> EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 9:35 p.m., to <br /> discuss the Barbara Ross case, the Ralls case, and labor relations. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 10:10 p.m. <br /> <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 10:15 p.m., it was moved by <br /> Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wilson, that the meeting <br /> be adjourned to meet again in Regular Session on March 17, 1987, 8:00 p.m., in <br /> the Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br /> ~/v~AMES R.
