No action was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br />Senior Citizen Housinq Report <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 87:58) dated February 3, 1987, regard- <br />ing this matter. <br /> <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Wilson, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 87-52, formally approving the charge <br />to the Citizens Advisory Committee as follows: (1) to continue to advise the <br />Council on matters related to the interior design and furnishing of the proj- <br />ect; (2) to provide information and advice to the City Council on the rent <br />structure of the project; and (3) to provide information and advice to the <br />City Council in development of a management policy and philosophy for the <br />project; Instructing staff to proceed with the following items related to the <br />Senior Citizen Housing Project: (1) develop and recommend a financing program <br />to the City Council; (2) completion of the working drawings, preparation of <br />bidding documents, calling for construction bids, and awarding of contract; <br />and (3) selection of landscape architect, preparation of a landscape plan, <br />preparation of bidding documents, and awarding of a landscape contract; Have <br />the Mayor prepare a letter to the Citizens Advisory Committee thanking them <br />for their contribution to date on the project; and Instructing the Citizens <br />Advisory Committee and City staff to prepare a report to the Council on the <br />process by which the Citizens Advisory Committee can turn the project over to <br />the Pleasanton Housing Authority for operation but continue to be involved in <br />the project, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />Capital Improvement Budget <br /> Councilmember Mohr requested that staff prepare a report regarding the <br />potential impacts on the three year capital improvement program by the growth <br />limitation initiative being circulated at this time.
