Adoption of Resolution No. 87-45, approval of agreement with CH2M Hill for <br /> construction management services on the Library project for a total amount <br /> not to exceed $193,000; and authorizing execution of the agreement by the <br /> appropriate city officials. <br /> <br />n. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-46, denial of the claim of Jim Harris in the <br /> sum of $4,011.55 arising from alleged damage to his property during the <br /> construction of the West [as Positas soundwall; and referring this matter <br /> to the City Attorney for further handling. <br /> <br />o. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-47, supporting the concept of hosting both a <br /> Sports Festival prior to the Olympics and the 1996 Olympics in the Bay <br /> Area. <br /> <br />p. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-48, approval of creation of a Fire En- <br /> gineer's position on the staffed engines as well as the truck; directing <br /> the Fire Chief to conduct the necessary testing process to fill the posi- <br /> tions by April 1, 1987 with the pay for the new positions to commence on <br /> the day of the appointment; and amending the Fire Department budget in the <br /> amount of $3,406.00 to compensate for this change. <br /> <br />q. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-49, approval of agreement with Gruen Gruen & <br /> Associates for fiscal impact update; appropriating $22,000 for the 1987 <br /> update; directing staff to include $6,000 in the 1987-88 operating budget <br /> for the preliminary work for the 1988 update; and directing the City Man- <br /> ager to execute the agreement on behalf of the City. <br /> <br />r. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-50, recommending distribution of Measure B <br /> Paratransit Funds to Transportation Development Act 4.5 Claimants (TDA <br /> 4.5); and requesting that the Alameda County Transportation Authority di- <br /> rect its staff to work cooperatively with the Transportation Development <br /> Act 4.5 Claimants to insure the highest level of service and greatest de- <br /> gree to coordination of paratransit services possible. <br /> <br />s.
