Zoning for the property is CC (Central Commercial) District Consider Adoption of Neqative Declaration Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:363) dated August 18, 1987, regard- ing this matter. Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the negative declaration. Mr. Martin Inderbitzen, Attorney, 62 West Neal Street, representing the applicant, stated he concurs with the staff report and conditions. He pres- ented renderings of the proposed project. Council discussion ensured regarding landscaping, car ramps, and security. No one in the audience spoke in opposition to this item. 'There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing closed on the appliction and the negative declaration. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None '~ ABSENT: None It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- ler, that Ordinance No. 1331, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof, and finding that the rezoning and development plan are con- sistent with the General Plan and the purposes of the PUD ordinance, approve PUD-87-7, application of Robert Berkey and Berkey Motors for Planned Unit Development rezoning and development plan approval for construction of a two building, approximately 40,800 sq. ft. automobile sales/service facility to be located on an approximately 5.0 acre site, located at 4350 Rosewood Drive, subject to conditions contained in Staff Report 87:363, and adding a condition that all vehicles, both for sale and employees, must be parked only in desig- nated areas on the site, be introduced.
