Mr. Walker stated that agreement has been reached with the PCEA regarding <br />wages and benefits. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the amount of 7% raise is really high for <br />this group of employees but he will support it because of parity with other <br />jurisdictions. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wil- <br />son, that Resolution No. 87-299, approving the Memorandum of Understanding <br />with the Pleasanton City Employees Association for the period March 1, 1987 <br />through February 28, 1988, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY AIFORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS <br /> There were no Communications presented at this meeting. <br /> <br />CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br /> Mr. Walker presented the City Council Calendar for the information of the <br />Council. <br /> <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br /> Mayor Mercer recessed the meeting to an Executive Session at 10:50 p.m., <br />to discuss the claim of Mark Redeker. <br /> <br />Mayor Mercer reconvened the meeting at 11:20 p.m. <br /> <br />ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business at 11:25 p.m., it was moved by Councilmem- <br />ber Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Wilson, that the meeting be adjour- <br />ned to meet again in Regular Session on July 21, 1987, 8:00 p.m., in the <br />Pleasanton Council Chambers. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br /> <br />241 <br /> <br />yES-R' 'WALKER, CITY CLERK <br /> <br />- 17 7-7-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
