He advised that <br /> Council will be receiving copies of the Environmental Impact Statement within <br /> the next week. He felt this document should be reviewed before taking a posi- <br /> tion on the proposed expansion. He requested this matter be placed on the <br /> next agenda for discussion. <br /> <br /> Moratorium on Properties within Downtown Community Development Agency <br /> Councilmember Brandes stated the Downtown Community Development Agency <br /> should be formed and boundaries established by September 1st, and he would <br /> recommend that a moratorium be placed on any development until that time. <br /> After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes that no development <br /> plans be accepted by the City that are within the broad perimeters of the <br /> Downtown Community Development Agency until after September 1, 1987. <br /> <br /> 5 - 6-16-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
