91 <br /> (Planned Unit Development_)_-Medium Density Residential District <br /> Councilmember Mohr stated she would abstain from participation in this <br /> item because of Conflict of Interest. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 87:526) dated December 1, 1987, regard- <br /> ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on this item. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ralph Romero, representing the applicants, stated that the problem <br />regarding saving the trees and old house had been resolved. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Bran- <br />des, that Ordinance No. 1348, to be read by title only and waiving further <br />reading thereof, and finding that the development plan, as conditioned, is <br />consistent with the purposes of the PUD District, and the goals and policies <br />of the General Plan; approve PUD-87-25, application of Kamp, Kral, Crouch for <br />development plan approval for a four-parcel, single family residential <br />development to be located on an approximately 1.2 acre site at 3775 Mohr <br />Avenue, subject to conditions listed in Exhibit A of Staff Report 87:526, be <br />introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Mohr <br /> <br />Application of the City of Pleasanton for approval of the Master Plan for Vet- <br />eran's Plaza. Veteran's Plaza is a .5 acre downtown park located on the <br />southwest corner of Peters and Division Street. The Master Plan includes a <br />children's play area, landscaping, seating area, permanent veteran's memorial, <br />and a masonry wall <br /> <br />Consider Adoption of Negative Declaration <br /> Ms. Bengtson presented her report (SR 87:529) dated December 1, 1987, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing open on the application and the <br />negative declaration. <br /> <br /> Mr. Andrew Shaper, 386 Division Street, stated the City has been working <br />on this project for a number of years; the plan is a real asset to the down- <br />town area as it provides for park needs and honors veterans. <br /> <br /> No one in the audience spoke in opposition to the item. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mayor Mercer declared the public hearing <br />closed on the application and the negative declaration. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, <br />that Resolution No. 87-539, determining on the basis of a review of initial <br /> <br /> 7 - 12-1-87 <br /> <br /> <br />
