Councilmember Wilson requested that item 41 - Amendment of Pleasanton Municipal Code to Add Chapter 11.54 (Skateboards) Regulating the Use of Skate- boards in City of Pleasanton, be moved on the agenda to item 5d, to allow for discussion. CONSENT CALENDAR It was moved by Councilmember Butler, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, that the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended thereto, .... be approved: a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 10-6-87, as amended. b. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-463, approving Claims for the Month of Sep- tember, 1987, in the amount of $15,826,976.12. c. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-464, authorizing the addition of one police public safety position for the purpose of establishing a code enforcement program; and amending the 1987-88 budget in an amount up to $65,000, to cover this position. d. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-465, acceptance of the railroad consolida- tion project, CIP No. 84-07, for the Bernal Avenue and Del Valle Parkway railroad undercrossings which in accordance with the agreement with the railroad companies this City is responsible for maintaining; authorizing the filing of the Notice of Completion for the three railroad undercross- ings at Bernal Avenue, Del Valle Parkway, and South Verona; and approving final payment to O. C. Jones and Sons, in the amount of $9,810.64 and re- tain 5% of the total contract cost for the statutory 30 days. e. Remove from the agenda - Acceptance of Public Improvements for Parcel Map 4390, Morrici Property, at the request of staff. f. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-466, approvel of final map, improvement plans, and Subdivision Agreement for Tract 5685, Mohr Park, Unit 5 Shea Homes; and authorizing execution of the Subdivision Agreement by the ap- propriate city officials. g. Adoption of Resolution No. 87°467, acceptance of public improvements for Tract 5391, Mohr Park, Unit 2 - Shea Homes; and authorizing the City At- torney to file a Notice of Completion. h. Proclaim November 15-21, 1987, as National Arts Week. i. Adoption of Resolution No. 87-468, approval of contract with Sportcare to provide physical fitness program for Fire Department; and authorizing ex- ecution of the contract by the appropriate city officials. j.
