447 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> of <br /> THE MEETING <br /> of <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> October 20, 1987 <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the City Council to <br />order at 8:00 p.m., and then led the Pledge of Allegiance to the flag. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL <br /> Deputy City Clerk Doris George called the roll which is recorded as fol- <br />lows: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer were present. <br />Councilmember Brandes was absent. Mr. Walker, City Manager, Mr. MacDonald, <br />City Attorney, Mr. Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities, Mr. Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development, Mr. Eastman, Police Chief, and <br />Ms. Bengtson, Director of Parks and Community Services, were present. <br /> <br />AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following items be added to the Consent <br />Calendar: <br /> <br />item 4n - Approval of Stoneson Agreement regarding Remainder Parcel at <br /> Stoneridge Interchange. <br /> <br />item 4o - Approval of Quitclaim Deed from City to BART .re private park <br /> easement. <br /> <br />item 4p - Adoption of Ordinance No. 1339, Approval of PUD-87-23, Application <br /> of Jim Myers and Pleasanton Commercial Partnerships to rezone an <br /> approximately 2.3 acre site from CS (Commercial Service) District to <br /> PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial Service/Commercial and <br /> Office District located at 3687 Old Santa Rita Road. <br /> <br />item 4q Adoption of Ordinance No. 1340, Approval of RZ-87-7, Application of <br /> the City of Pleasanton to amend the Municipal Code pertaining to bed <br /> and breakfast inns as a permitted use or conditionally permitted use <br /> in the "C" (Commercial) District. <br /> <br /> item 4r - Adoption of Ordinance No. 1341, Amendment to Chapter 9.04 (Noise <br /> Regulation) of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker advised there is a correction to the Minutes of October 6, <br /> 1987, page 18, paragraph two, should read PUD-Commercial and Office District <br /> instead of Commercial Service. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be removed from the agenda <br /> item 4e - Acceptance of Public Improvements for Parcel Map 4390, Morrici Prop- <br /> erty, at the request of staff. <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested that the following item be removed from the agenda - <br /> item 4j Change Name of St. John Street to St. John Court (500 block) and St. <br /> <br /> - 1 <br /> <br /> <br />
