Adoption of Resolution No. 87-419, approving the contract for consultant <br /> services with Interactive Resources for evaluating the feasibility of and <br /> optional uses for the reuse and relocation of Mohr House; and approve the <br /> agreement with Miriam Chu, Eugene Y. C. Choi, and Max Gahrahmat to allow <br /> the City the righL to enter the property for the purpose of protecting <br /> Mohr House and completing the tasks outlined in the consultants scope of <br /> work. Councilmember Brandes emphasized that this in no way is an agree- <br /> ment to proceed with the restoration of Mohr House; only to look into the <br /> feasibility of the project. <br /> <br />p.Adoption of Resolution No. 87-420, awarding contract to publish the City's <br /> legal notices for the 1987-88 fiscal year to The Valley Times. <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />SPECIAL AND INFORMATIONAL REPORTS <br />Fire Department Activities Scheduled for Fire Prevention Week, October 4-10, <br />1987 <br /> Mr. Walker presented the report of the Fire Chief (IR 87:88) dated Septem- <br />ber 1, 1987, regarding this matter. No action was required or taken by Coun- <br />cil on the item. <br /> <br />Review of SB 1699 Re: Collection of Enforcement Costs for Driving Under the <br />Influence Arrests <br /> Mr. MacDonald presented his report (IR 87:91) dated September 15, 1987, <br /> regarding this matter. Mayor Mercer instructed this item be placed on the <br /> next agenda for further consideration. <br /> <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board, and Planninq <br />Commission at their Meeting of 9-9-87 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 87:89) dated September 10, 1987, <br /> regarding this matter. Councilmember Brandes requested that the following <br /> items be appealed: <br /> <br /> V-87-21, Application of Robert Cox and Olde Town Antiques for a variance from <br /> the Municipal Code to allow for the installation of a wall-mounted <br /> sign higher 'than that permitted under the Downtown Revitalization <br /> District regulations, located at 465 Main Street. Councilmember <br /> Brandes stated he is appealing this item because the CDA report is <br /> not complete, and his concerns for the downtown area. <br /> <br /> Z-87-391, Application for design review approval to install permanent gates <br /> across the eastern driveway of the entrance of the Wellington town- <br /> house complex at 5375 Black Avenue.
