MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS Appointment to Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board Mayor Mercer presented his memorandum dated February 1, 1988, recommending the appointment of Councilmember Wilson and City Manager Walker {the Assistant City Manager at a later date) to the Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board. It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember But- ler, that Resolution No. 88-75, confirming the appointment of Councilmember Wilson and City Manager Walker {the Assistant City Manager at a later date} to the Convention and Visitors Bureau Advisory Board, be adopted. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember Mohr, determining that Council review Downtown projects on a case by case basis for their conformance with the Downtown Specific Plan.
