No action <br /> was required or taken by Council on the item. <br /> <br /> Actions Taken by the Desiqn Review Board and Planning Commission at their <br /> meeting of 1-27-88 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report {IR 88:07) dated January 28, 1988, regard- <br /> ing this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer requested that the following items be appealed: <br /> <br /> Z-87-552, Application of Robert Berkey for design review approval of a com- <br /> prehensive sign program for the approximately 13,500 sq. ft. Lincoln/Mercury <br /> Auto dealerships to be located at 4340 Rosewood Drive. Zoning for the proper- <br /> ty is PUD {Planned Unit Development)-Commercial District; and <br /> <br /> PUD-85-2-2D-1M, Application of Val Strough Auto Village for an existing auto- <br /> mobile sales and service complex to provide for expansion of facilities in- <br /> cluding approximately 4,075 sq. ft. of additional sales/service area, parking, <br /> signage, and related improvements located at 4341 Rosewood Drive. Zoning for <br /> the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Commercial District. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he is concerned about the lack of control over signs, <br /> and the possible violation of the sign ordinance by Val Strough and other <br /> automobile dealers who are erecting signs for different kinds of automobiles <br /> for sale than was approved in the PUD. <br /> <br /> Council concurred with the appeals. Mr. Swift advised that PUD-85-2-2D- <br /> 1M, Application of Val Strough Auto Village, was continued by the Planning <br /> Commission to their meeting of February 24, 1988. <br /> <br /> Results of the 1987 Transportation Survey and Transportation Systems Manage- <br /> ment (TSM) Programs <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report {IR 88:08) dated February 2, 1988, regard- <br /> ing this matter.
