Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 88:345) dated July 19, 1988, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br />Mohr, directing staff to prepare a formal resolution for Council consideration <br />requesting the annexation of 27 acres located at the southwest corner of <br />Bernal Avenue and Case Avenue; and directed staff to notify all property <br />owners in the vicinity of said annexation of the time and place at which the <br />resolution will be considered. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembe/~ Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Nc~e <br /> <br />item 12b <br />Request by John R. John Senft, 670 Sycamore Road, stated his well is contaminated, his <br />son has allergies, and for health reasons he is requesting City water <br />service. <br /> <br /> After a~-~assion, it was moved by CounciLmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Mayor Mercer, that Resolution No. 88-354, denying the request by John R. Senft <br />for water service at 670 Sycamore Road, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />item 12c <br />Purchase Aqreement with Southern Pacific Railroad Company to Purchase <br />DeLucchi and Wayside Parks <br /> Mr. Walker presented his report (SR 88:346) dated July 19, 1988, <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Wilson, that Resolution No. 88-355, approving the offer to purchase Wayside <br />and Delucchi Parks from Southern Pacific Transportation Cc~ at a cost of <br />$400,000; and appropriating $400,000 fr~n the General Fund to purchase the <br />parks, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: CounciLmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> - 18 - <br /> <br /> 7-19-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
