Mr. Swift advised Planning <br />C~,mdssion will be reviewing this matter in September along with the Downtown <br />Association and Chamber of C~m~erce; the ordinance should be hack to Council <br />for consideration in October. <br /> <br />item 9f <br />PUD-88-5, Application of Spieker Partners for Planned Unit Development <br />rezoninq and development plan approval 'to construct an approximately 65,348 <br />sq. ft. ~ial/service oam~ercial cc~lex to be located on an <br />approximately 8.4 acre site located on the west side of Rosewood Drive, <br />approximately 600 feet north of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and <br />Rosewood Drive. He presented <br />renderings showing the houses set at an angle on the lots. He stated t_hat <br />keeping the 25 foot setback creates a hardship on the homeowner as it takes <br />away fx-c~, his inside yard. <br /> <br /> Mr. Scott Green, 2020 Martin Avenue, stated when he bought his home he <br />was not aware of this setback; Mr. Stern is representing the hc~eowners who <br />want the 10 foot setback. <br /> <br /> Mr. Howard Pack, 1992 Martin Avenue, stated that the extra 15 feet inside <br />their yards will allow the hc~eowners to have a garden or swimming pool.
