He <br />stated the state law under which Council and Agency are acting is <br />the Community Redevelopment Law of the State of California. That <br />law required that we follow certain procedures, some of them <br />formal, in the conduct of tonight's joint public hearing. <br /> <br /> The Vice Mayor stated a transcript will be made of the <br />hearing. Persons making statements and giving testimony will be <br />subject to questions through the Chair. All persons desiring to <br />speak will be given an opportunity to do so. <br /> <br /> He also said that this is a combined hearing on both the <br />Redevelopment Plan and the certification of the Final <br />Environmental Impact Report on the Redevelopment Plan, so please <br />make it clear when you are speaking whether your remarks are <br />directed to the Redevelopment Plan, the adequacy of the Final <br />Environmental Impact Report,.or both. <br /> <br /> - 26 - <br /> 12-6-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
