335 <br /> <br /> Measure X - YES 13,901 <br /> Measure X - NO 7,260 <br /> <br />Therefore, the following person is hereby declared elected to the <br />office of Mayor of the City of Pleasanton: <br /> <br /> Kenneth R. Mercer is elected for one full term from and after <br /> November 29, 1988, and until his successor is elected and <br /> qualified. <br /> <br />The following persons are hereby declared elected to the office of <br />City Councilmember of the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Robert E. Butler and Karin Mohr are elected for one full term <br /> from and after November 29, 1988, and until their successors <br /> are elected and qualified. <br /> <br /> Ben Tarver is elected for one two (2) year term from and <br /> after November 29, 1988, and until his successor is elected <br /> and qualified. <br /> <br />Initiative Measure X is approved, permitting a planned unit <br />development rezoning and development plan for a commercial complex <br />at the southeast corner of the intersection of Santa Rita Road and <br />Pimlico Drive, <br /> <br />be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Brandes <br /> <br /> Councilmember Wilson stated he has been very happy to serve <br />the City the last two years and thanked the City Council for <br />appointing him for two years. He stated he was sad that he didn't <br />get reelected. He felt the City has an excelled Council and <br />Mayor; the City is in good hands and will see many improvements. <br />He felt Pleasanton is fortunate in the accomplishments that have <br />been made by the City Council and staff. He wished everyone the <br />best of luck. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mayor Mercer, and seconded by Councilmember <br />Butler, that Resolution No. 88-548, commending Councilmember <br />Wilson for his outstanding contributions the past two years as <br />Councilmember, as well as his service on the BART Board, Planning <br />Commission, Alameda County Fair Board, and other civic activities, <br />which have made Pleasanton a better place to live, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> <br /> ~ 2 - 11-29-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
