No action was required or taken by <br />Council on the item. <br /> <br />item 5b <br />Actions Taken by the Board of Adjustment, Design Review Board, and <br />Planning Commission at their meeting of September 28, 1988 <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 88:74) dated September 29, <br />1988, regarding this matter. No action was required or taken by <br />Council on the item. <br /> <br />MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br />item 6a <br />Extension of Mirador Drive to Bernal Avenue <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he requested this item be placed on the <br />agenda. He stated that Mirador Drive does not connect to the new <br />Bernal Avenue behind Old Towne. The developer has discussed this <br />matter with him and feels it would alleviate traffic through Old <br />Towne to make the connection, and that it could be done for a <br />nominal cost at this time. Mayor Mercer asked that this matter be <br />placed on the next agenda for consideration. Council concurred. <br />item 6b <br />Analysis of SB-45 (Toll Bridge Revenues) <br /> Mr. Roush presented his memorandum dated September 27, 1988, <br />regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he asked that this matter be placed on <br />the agenda. He advised that the Mayors' Conference voted to <br />support SB 45, as contained in Regional Measure I. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Wilson, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Mohr, that Resolution No. 88-477, in support of <br />Regional Measure I, which would increase tolls on certain Bay Area <br />bridges to $1.00 for Class I vehicles, be adopted. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Wilson, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> <br /> - 4 - <br /> <br /> 10-4-88 <br /> <br /> <br />
