t. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-161, awarding the contract for <br /> the fuel pump station for the Police Department, Project No. <br /> 888087, to Minter and Fahy Construction Company for a low bid <br /> of $74,686.00; authorizing the City Manager to enter into a <br /> contract for the subject project; and authorizing an <br /> appropriation of $39,500.00 from the General Fund for the <br /> project. <br /> <br />u. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-162, awarding the contract for <br /> the Hacienda Business Park slurry seal, Project No. 885046, <br /> to Graham Contractors, Inc., for a low bid of $50,453.10; <br /> authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract for the <br /> subject project; and appropriating $6,500.00 from the Street <br /> Improvement Fund for engineering and contingencies for this <br /> project. <br /> <br />v. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-163, approving the extension of <br /> the contract award period for the cross-town interceptor <br /> project for an additional thirty (30) days; keeping the two <br /> lowest bids open for thirty (30) days; rejecting all other <br /> bids; and authorizing staff to investigate possible financing <br /> plans that will permit construction of the complete cross- <br /> town interceptor sewer project. <br /> <br />w. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-164, recommending support of <br /> Senate Bill 230 that will delete child development and <br /> preschool programs from the sunset provisions that will cease <br /> to exist as of June 30, 1989. <br /> <br />x. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-165, authorizing the filing of <br /> a claim for paratransit funds with the Metropolitan <br /> Transportation Commission and the Alameda County Board of <br /> Supervisors for the allocation of Transportation Development <br /> Act 4.5 funds for senior transportation for Fiscal Year 1989- <br /> 90; and authorizing the Director of Parks and Community <br /> Services to execute and file the claim. <br /> <br />y. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-166, approving the application <br /> for grant funds under the Roberti-Z'Berg-Harris Urban Open <br /> Space and Recreation Program (Proposition 99) for Kottinger <br /> Park roadway/pathway paving project. <br /> <br />z. Adoption of Resolution No. 89-167, approving the application <br /> to the Local Grant Program under the East Bay Regional Park <br /> District Regional Open Space, Wildlife, Shoreline and Parks <br /> Bond Ordinance, Phase I, for the Pleasanton Sports and <br /> Recreation Park softball pavilion project, in the amount of <br /> $694,304.00. <br /> <br />aa.
