Road, access to Foothill is not feasible. He stated a signal or <br />stop signs are needed because of speeding on this street. He <br />expressed concern regarding the grading. He felt everyone should <br />have input regarding this development and asked that the <br />application be continued for further review and input by the <br />neighbors. <br /> <br /> Mr. Trevor Logette, 4946 Hillcrest Way, stated the current <br />plans are such that the detached garages will limit his view. <br /> <br /> Mr. Russ Schaeffer, 5059 Foothill Road, stated Mr. Bridgman <br />has been cooperative as far as he is concerned. He recommended <br />that there be no access on Foothill Road; when the Stoneridge <br />Interchange goes in that will eliminate some traffic on Foothill <br />Road in this area. He stated his concerns are the two story <br />houses and their impacts on his view. He stated that when he <br />bought his home he recognized that eventually someone would <br />develop this property but he felt the plans could be modified so <br />that his view would not be quite so adversely affected. He <br />suggested that Kentwood Way be made a one-way street to eliminate <br />excessive traffic on this street. <br /> <br /> Mr. Don Jenkins, 7887 Kentwood Way, stated he is not <br />impressed with Phase I of this development, but is willing to work <br />with the developer in the planning of Phase II to make it more <br />compatible to the neighborhood. He ask for a continuance to allow <br />this to happen. <br /> <br /> Mr. Don Rolph, 7777 Fairbrook, stated he would like to see <br />one lot removed from Palmdale. <br /> <br /> Mr. Harold McGuirk stated the residents have done studies on <br />Foothill Road at the far southwest corner of Forest Hill. He felt <br />this would be a safer access to Foothill Road than Kentwood Way. <br />In addition to the conditions of approval and standard conditions <br />of development outlines in the February 22, 1989 staff report to <br />the Planning Commission as well as conditions requested from the <br />Kentwood/Forest Hill Drive residents, the neighbors impacted by <br />PUD-88-13 request the following conditions for the development: <br /> <br />1. That one story homes only be built on the lots adjacent to <br /> existing residential lots along Kentwood Way, Forest Hill <br /> Drive, Lynbrook Court, and Hillcrest Drive. The height of <br /> these homes (the highest point on the roof) not to exceed the <br /> highest point of the existing one story or one story sections <br /> of the existing homes. <br /> <br />2. The floor area ratios of the Forest Hill II lots comply with <br /> those FAR's of the perimeter homes. This calculation should <br /> not include non-buildable area of lot.
