259 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes and Tarver <br />NOES: Vice Mayor Butler <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Tarver, that Ordinance No. 1398, to be read by title <br />only and waiving further reading thereof, adopting the <br />Redevelopment Plan for the Downtown Redevelopment Project, be <br />introduced. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Tarver, and Vice Mayor Butler <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAINED:Councilmember Mohr and Mayor Mercer <br /> <br /> (Mayor Mercer and Councilmember Mohr returned to the dias.) <br /> <br />item 9b <br />PUD-84-5-1M, Application of Westbrook Housing Group for a ma~or <br />modification to an approved 215 unit residential development plan <br />located on an approximately 230 acre site south of the southern <br />terminus of Bernal Avenue, Concord Street and Bordeaux Street <br />which would do the following: (1) modify the patio home portion to <br />increase the unit size range from 1300-1600 sg. ft. to 1500-1900 <br />sq. ft., and to allow 9 of the 19 units to include second-story <br />lofts; (2) modify the paired unit portion to increase the unit <br />size from 1,000-1,500 sg. ft. to 1,484-1,768 sq. ft., and to add <br />land formerly a portion of the Catholic Church, and to delete one <br />unit, reducing the number of units from 50 to 49; (3) modify the <br />single-family portion to delete four lots and grading on a ridge <br />and add 5 lots within graded areas in the southerly portion of the <br />site. Zoning for the property is PUD (Planned Unit Development)- <br />Low Density Residential/Medium Density Residential and Open Space <br />District <br /> Mayor Mercer continued this matter to the meeting of March 7, <br />1989, 7:30 p.m., in the Pleasanton Council Chambers, at the <br />request of the applicant. <br /> <br />item 9c <br />PUD-87-19, Application of Dr. and Mrs. William Yee for rezoning to <br />the PUD (Planned Unit Development)-Low Density Residential/Rural <br />Density/Open Space District and development plan approval to <br />construct a 23 unit single-family residential development to be <br />located on an approximately 50.36 acre site located on the west <br />side of Foothill Road in the area north of Foothill Knolls Drive <br />and across from Foothill High School.
