455 <br /> <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS <br /> There were no reports of Boards and Commissions presented at <br />this meeting. <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY MANAGER <br />item 12a <br />Report reqardinq Oaktree Farms Development in the County <br /> Mayor Mercer stated he received a telephone call from Mr. <br />Currin, the developer, late this afternoon requesting that this <br />item be continued to the meeting of February 7, 1989, to allow him <br />time to review the staff report and to respond to Council with his <br />report. <br /> <br /> Councilmember Brandes requested that a letter be transmitted <br />to the Board of Supervisors to ensure that they would not consider <br />this matter before Council can respond to the matter at the <br />hearing. Council concurred. <br /> <br /> Mayor Mercer declared this item continued to February 7, <br />1989, and instructed staff to prepare a letter to the Alameda <br />County Board of Supervisors advising them of the Council's <br />agreement with Mr. Currin and to request that the Oaktree Farms <br />project not be placed on the Supervisors agenda until after <br />February 7, 1989. <br /> <br />item 12b <br />Review of City's Proposed Operations Service Center and <br />Recommendation for Approval of Conceptual Plan <br /> Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 89:15) dated January 3, <br />1989, regarding this matter. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Councilmember Brandes, and seconded by <br />Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 89-15, reapproving the <br />conceptual site plan for the City's proposed Operations Service <br />Center as set forth in Staff Report 89:15, be adopted; and <br />directing staff to take the conceptual site plan and exterior <br />elevations of the buildings for the Operations Service Center to <br />the Planning Commission for its review and recommendations. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br />REPORTS OF THE CITY ATTORNEY <br /> There were no reports of the City Attorney presented at this <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> - 15 - 1-3-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
