The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 8d Status of the Stoneridqe Drive Specific Plan Mr. Swift presented his report (IR 89:43) regarding this matter. Mr. Chris Haynam, 3035 Ferndale Court, member of the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan citizens committee, indicated they were in favor of Options 1 and 2, the Linear Park, and 2 lanes serving only the residential area south of the Arroyo, with no through street in the area. Mr. Haynam indicated that through various media, residents of the area had been asked to come forward in favor of commuting through that area to E1 Charro and .not one person had responded. There was considerable discussion regarding this, but no action was taken pending the outcome of the next citizens' meeting. Item 8e Pending State Legislation Mayor Mercer presented a memorandum dated May 30, 1989 recommending support of four pending bills. After discussion, it was moved by Councilmember Tarver, and seconded by Councilmember Butler, that Resolution No. 89-260 be adopted supporting AB 1512 and AB 2206. The roll call vote was as follows AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None 8f City of Livermore's Action on the Livermore Airport Committee's Recommendations Mayor Mercer presented his memorandum dated May 30, 1989 regarding correspondence received from Dale Turner outlining Livermore's action regarding the Airport Citizens Committee recommendations. After discussion by the Council, it was determined not to make any changes to the Committee recommendations. Mayor Mercer then indicated he had spoken to Rick Aguilar, chairman of the Citizens Affordable Housing Committe. Mayor Mercer asked Council's permission to formulate a committee, 6-6-89 -17-
