119

Item 13b
Quarterly Claims Reports
Mr. Roush presented his report (IR 89:52) regarding this
matter.

Mr. Roush informed the Council that a closed session is
necessary to get instructions for the City's negotiators regarding
Kaiser Center, Inc.'s property located at 6177 Sunol Blvd.

At this point, Mr. Jack Hovingh presented his concern about
Alameda County's supporting the Raiders' return to town. It seems
anomalous that the Alameda County Board of Supervisors is opposed
to putting up a $2,000 fee on affordable housing and yet they are
considering bringing the Raiders back for $32 million. He
requested the Council to consider the issue very carefully before
taking any position in this regard.

No action was taken on this item.

14.
