Mr. Brandes recommended that the houses to be built on Lots 2 <br />and 3 be subject to separate design review and approval by the <br />Design Review Board prior to the issuance of building permits for <br />the units, with all the conditions of Cases PUD-85-21 through <br />PUD-85-21-4M remaining in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer concurred with Mr. Brandes and recommended further <br />that all the neighbors be notified of the date of the design <br />review hearing and that anyone who is concerned about the Design <br />Review Board's decision could appeal that decision to the <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler stated that he supported Mr. Brandes' and Mr. <br />Mercer's recommendations and added that there should be a 10-foot <br />minimum front setback and 20-foot minimum rear setback on Lot 3. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Mercer, that <br />Ordinance No. 1445 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-85-21-5M, the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton for a major modification to <br />amend the development standards of an approved single-family <br />residential planned unit development located at 306 Neal Street, <br />subject to the conditions and recommendations set forth by Mr. <br />Brandes, Mr. Mercer, and Mr. Butler. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmembers Mohr and Tarver <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6c <br />PUD-81-30-49D, Application of South Bay Construction and <br />Development Company to Approve a Development Plan to Construct a <br />23,168 sq. ft. R & D / Office Building Located at 4160 Hacienda <br />Drive, at the southwest comer of Gibraltar Drive and Hacienda <br />Drive. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 89:527), regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Butler indicated that he could not participate in this <br />matter due to a conflict of interest. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Jim Mair of South Bay Construction and Development <br />Company, 511 Division Street, Campbell, stated that he would <br />answer any questions regarding the development. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes asked Mr. Mair if his company were in full <br />agreement with the conditions set forth in the staff report and by <br />the Planning Commission. <br /> <br /> -10- <br /> 12-12-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
