493 <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush replied that it would depend on their years of <br />service. For each year of service, the City would pay for the <br />Councilmember and one dependent four percent of the monthly <br />premium of the City's current Kaiser S-1 Health Plan coverage, <br />except when a Councilmember retires from the City with at least <br />ten years of service, in which case the City's minimum <br />contribution shall be 75% of the applicable Kaiser monthly <br />premium. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer asked if the Councilmembers would get to keep <br />their life insurance and dental benefits after retirement. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush said no; upon retirement, the Councilmembers would <br />receive only medical and retirement benefits. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Mr. Brandes, that <br />Resolution No. 89-493 be adopted, approving the health and welfare <br />benefits provided to the City Council. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />14. CITY COUNCIL CALENDAR <br />Item !5a <br />January 2, 1990 Council Meetinq <br /> <br /> Mr. Bocian presented the City Council Calendar for the <br />information of the Councilmembers. <br /> <br /> After some discussion, the Councilmembers agreed to hold its <br />regular City Council meeting on January 2, 1990. <br /> <br />16. CLOSED SESSION <br /> <br /> Council adjourned to a Closed Session at 9:20 p.m. to discuss <br />the City Attorney's compensation. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 89-492 be adopted, approving a compensation plan <br />establishing the salary and supplementary benefits for City <br />Attorney Michael H.
