It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that <br />Ordinance No. 1443 be introduced, to be read by title only and <br />waiving further reading thereof, approving RZ-89-14, the <br />application of the City of Pleasanton to amend the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code to conditionally allow the temporary sales of <br />Christmas trees in the Multi-Family Residential and other zoning <br />Districts. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />Resolution Makinq Application to LAFCO for Annexation No. 132 <br />(Lemoine - 48.4 Acres) Located on the West Side of Foothill Road <br /> <br /> Mr. Elliott presented his report (SR 89:486) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> Mr. Darryl Alexander, Alexander and Associates, representing <br />Mr. and Mrs. Lemoine, commended the staff report and requested <br />Council approval for the project. <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Mr. Brandes, to <br />adopt Resolution No. 89-487, approving the application requesting <br />the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) to take proceedings <br />for the proposed Annexation No. 132 (Lemoine - 48.4 acres) located <br />on the west side of Foothill Road, pursuant to the Cortese-Knox <br />Local Government Reorganization Act of 1985; Resolution No. <br />89-488, agreeing to the exchange of property tax revenue for <br />Annexation No. 132; and Resolution No. 89-489, initiating <br />prezoning of the property being annexed to the City of Pleasanton <br />under Annexation No. 132 (Lemoine). <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> -12- <br /> 11-21-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
