415 It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that Ordinance No. 1433 be adopted, amending Section 1 of Ordinance 1297 and Section 20.08.025 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code and requiring existing dwelling units to be retrofitted with spark arrestors. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 10c Ordinance 1434, RZ-89-9. City of Pleasanton, Application to amend Section 18.116.010 of the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton to allow home boutiques as a temporary conditional use in residential districts Mr. Mercer opened the discussion on the matter. Mr. Brandes inquired if there were any way that an existing ordinance could be amended to allow boutiques for a certain period of time, without having to go through seeking permits and business licenses. Ms. Mohr commented that she has received numerous phone calls from the people who have these boutiques saying that this is a very workable solution to the problem. It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that Ordinance No. 1434 be adopted, amending Section 18.116.010 of the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton to allow home boutiques as a temporary conditional use in residential districts.
