City of Pleasanton, Application to amend <br />Section 18.116.010 of the Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton <br />to allow home boutiques as a temporary conditional use in <br />residential districts <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer opened the discussion on the matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes inquired if there were any way that an existing <br />ordinance could be amended to allow boutiques for a certain period <br />of time, without having to go through seeking permits and business <br />licenses. <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr commented that she has received numerous phone calls <br />from the people who have these boutiques saying that this is a <br />very workable solution to the problem. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br />Ordinance No. 1434 be adopted, amending Section 18.116.010 of the <br />Municipal Code of the City of Pleasanton to allow home boutiques <br />as a temporary conditional use in residential districts. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Butler, Mohr, Tarver, and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: Councilmember Brandes <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />11.
