345 <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer explained that Montevino Drive is still a <br />privately-owned street; therefore, the City has no jurisdiction <br />over it. He added that Amador Valley Savings and Loan, as the <br />original owner and developer of the property, had accepted the <br />conditions of approval. They then sold the property to the new <br />developers, who should have informed their buyers of these <br />conditions. <br /> <br /> Mr. Ron Grayson, 3252 Touriga Drive, requested that stop <br />signs and cross walks be installed at the corner of Touriga Drive <br />and Concord Street as well as Concord Street and Kottinger Drive, <br />as school children walk across those streets to Vintage Hills <br />School. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer requested Mr. Elliott to ask Traffic Engineer, Mr. <br />van Gelder, to look into the stop signs and crosswalks in those <br />areas. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes indicated that he supported those stop sign, but <br />pointed out the importance of parents telling their children to be <br />careful when crossing streets, since not all cars stop at stop <br /> <br /> There being no further testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the <br />public hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer informed those present that any further problems <br />with the situation in the area should be brought to the Council's <br />attention. <br /> <br />7.
