357 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> SEPTEMBER 19, 1989 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council to order at 7:00 p.m., and Council adjourned to a <br />closed session to discuss management compensation. Mr. Mercer <br />called the Regular Meeting back to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> Deputy City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is <br />recorded as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, <br />Tarver, and Mayor Mercer. Staff members present were: Mr. <br />Walker, City Manager; Mr. Roush, City Attorney; Mr. Swift, <br />Director of Planning and Community Development; Mr. Elliot, <br />Director of Public Works and Utilities; Ms. Bengtson, Director of <br />Parks and Community Services; Mr. Hill, Fire Chief; and Mr. <br />Eastman, Police Chief. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Mr. Walker requested the following items be removed from the <br />Agenda: <br /> <br />Item 4d - Acceptance of Public Improvements for Tract 5546, <br /> Stonedale Townhomes AKA The Gables - Warmington Homes <br /> <br />Item 7b - Report on Washers/Dryers at Gatewood Apartments <br /> <br />Item 8c - Children's Safety Fair <br /> <br />Item 13a - Amendment to Noise Regulations Concerning Construction <br /> Activities <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes inquired if there would be a need for an <br />environmental study for the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift answered that there would. He added that at its <br />last meeting, Council directed the staff to prepare the final <br />Specific Plan document with all the policies, as revised. It <br />would also be at that time that a resolution on all environmental <br />findings would be presented, to be considered prior to the <br />adoption of the Specific Plan. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes asked if this would take place as a public <br />hearing item. <br /> <br /> -1- <br /> <br /> 9-19-89 <br /> <br /> <br />
