CONSENT CALENDAR ' <br /> <br /> Mr. Stanley Rathbone, 325 Ray Street, read excerpts of an <br /> article from the Smithsonian Institute publication on the <br /> environment regarding Item 4b - Proclaim April 22, 1990 as Earth <br /> Day 1990. <br /> <br /> In connection with Item 4p - Review of Proposed Grading <br /> Permit for 10 Beratlis Place, Ms. Joan Erskine, 920 Gray Fox <br /> Circle, whose property is situated next to the Foxbrough Place <br /> lots, stated that she would like to know what the lots would look <br /> like after the grading fill is put in. <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta suggested that it might help Ms. Erskine to talk <br /> to Mr. Beratlis first about the matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer requested Ms. Erskine to talk to Mr. Beratlis and <br /> stated that they could ask for Mr. Elliott's assistance, if <br /> necessary. He added that the item would be taken off the Consent <br /> Calendar and considered under CITY MANAGER'S REPORTS as Item 12d. <br /> <br /> The matter was later settled between Ms. Erskine and Mr. <br /> Beratlis, and Ms. Erskine indicated that she had no opposition to <br /> the grading permit. Council voted on the item after its <br /> discussion on Item 8a. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br /> the following items listed on the Consent Calendar be approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 3/20/90. <br /> <br /> b. Proclaim April 22, 1990 as "Earth Day 1990." <br /> <br /> c. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1457, approving Case <br /> PUD-90-01, the application of Alameda County for <br /> rezoning and development plan approval. <br /> <br /> d. Adoption of Ordinance No. 1458, approving Case <br /> PUD-89-5-1D, the application of the DeSilva Group for <br /> development plan approval. <br /> <br /> e. Approval of the monthly Financial Report for February <br /> 1990 and of the claims for the month of February 1990 in <br /> the amount of $4,409,017.34. (SR 90:138) <br /> <br /> f. Adoption of Resolution No. 90-72, approving the <br /> investment policies and guidelines of the City of <br /> Pleasanton and authorizing the purchase of investments <br /> exceeding five-year maturity.
