174

At this point, Ms. Erskine came to the podium and informed
Council that she and Mr. Beratlis have settled her concern
regarding the grading on the Foxbrough lots and that she had no
opposition to the matter.

Mr. Tarver inquired when the growth management allocation
would be scheduled.

Mr. Mercer stated that the Garms and Presley developments
still have to come to Council for public hearing, followed by
growth management. He .asked Mr. Swift if these projects still
needed to go to the Planning Commission.

Mr. Swift replied that the Presley project does not need to
go back to the Planning Commission. But the Garms project would
have to go to the Planning Commission, and it would take at least
a month before it goes to Council. However, the corridor study
that Council wanted to see and discuss will require environmental
documentation and will not be ready until the second meeting in
May. Council can consider both the corridor study and the
projects at the same time, and if the projects comply with
whatever the Council adopts, actions on the projects can be taken
at the same meeting.

Mr. Mercer indicated that Council could do growth management
on the first meeting in June, during which time the Growth
Management Committee could work with the Garms and Presley
developers. Council could then concentrate on the Garms and
Presley projects during the last two weeks. He then appointed Ms.
Mohr and Mr. Brandes to the Growth Management Committee.

The Council then considered Item 4p - Review of Proposed
Grading Permit for 10 Beratlis Place. (IR 90:34)

It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, to
approve the proposed grading permit for 10 Beratlis Place.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor
Mercer
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

Item 8b
Ridge View Commons Tenant Appointment to the Housing Authority
Commission

It was moved by Mr. Mercer, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that
Resolution No. 90-77 be adopted, appointing Mr. Darrel Maxson as a
Tenant Representative of the Housing Authority Commission,
representing Ridge View Commons.

- 10 -
4-3-90
