440

Ms. Mohr commented that in connection with the alternative
cul-de-sac configuration, staff did not discuss the potential for
having Rachael Place and the project's driveway come out into a
single access point on Stanley Boulevard.

Mr. Swift replied that there is a common recreation area right
at the corner of the property on Rachael Place and that the
recreation area for the new project would also be located in the
same place. He explained that bringing the streets together would
remove the opportunity for any on-site recreational amenity. He
also pointed out that Rachael Place is a private street and merging
it with a public street would raise many problems.

It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Mercer that
Resolution No. 90-159 be adopted, based on a review of an initial
environmental impact study done for this project and on a finding
that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in
the City's guidelines and on further finding that a negative
declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-90-8, the
application of Dorian Glanville/Frank Auf der Maur for planned unit
development rezoning and development plan approval to rezone an
approximately 1.8 acre site from R-1-20,000 (Single-family
Residential) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density
Residential District, and to construct a 13-unit detached and
attached single-family residential subdivision, located at
4011/4013 Stanley Boulevard.
The roll call vote was as follows:
AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor
Mercer
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
ABSTAIN: None

It was then moved by Mr. Butler, and seconded by Ms. Mohr,
that Ordinance No. 1482 be introduced, to be read by title only,
and waiving further reading thereof, approving PUD-90-8, the
application of Dorian Glanville/Frank Auf der Maur for planned unit
development rezoning and development plan approval to rezone an
approximately 1.8 acre site from R-1-20,000 (Single-family
Residential) to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density
Residential District, and to construct a 13-unit detached and
attached single-family residential subdivision, located at
4011/4013 Stanley Boulevard, as set forth in the Staff Report,
provided that Condition No. 12 be deleted from the Conditions of
Approval.

8-21-90
- 16 -

¢ [,
