(SR 90:324) <br /> <br />The roll call vote ~qas as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, 2tohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br />5. MEETING OPEN TO THE PUBLIC <br /> <br />Pleasant Village Center <br /> <br /> Mr. Steve Thomas, 1321 Mountain View Boulevard in Walnut <br />Creek, presented a petition, signed by three of the four neighbors <br />who live directly adjacent to the project, indicating that they <br />approved of the revised landscape plan proposed for the area. He <br />requested that Council reconsider its decision to lower the height <br />of the building by 3.5 feet, and that a public hearing be held in <br />view of the petition submitted. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes inquired if it would be appropriate to discuss the <br />issue in an executive session. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer asked the City Attorney if the matter could be <br />discussed, considering that it is not on the Agenda. <br /> <br /> Mr. Roush replied that there is a closed session item on the <br />Pleasant Village Center and that it would be more appropriate to <br />talk about the matter then. He added that any decision made would <br />be brought back after the closed session. <br /> <br />Construction on Division Street, Railroad Avenue and Sprinq Street <br /> <br /> Ms. Johanna Fabry, 171 Division Street, stated that the <br />construction on Division Street, Railroad Avenue and Spring Street <br />has resulted in a lot of dust. She presented a petition to have <br />the streets watered at least three times a day. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer asked staff how much longer the construction would <br />take and how difficult it would be to increase Zhe ~atering on <br />those sEreets. <br /> <br /> Mr. Elliott replied that the construction would be completed <br />around October. He stated that he had a meeting with the <br />construction staff and that he has instructed them that at least <br />Division Street should be watered a minimum of three times a day. <br /> <br /> 3-7-90 <br /> - 5 - <br /> <br /> <br />
