359 <br /> <br />Item 6e <br />PUD-85-14-1M, Application of Richard Guasco for a Maqor <br />Modification to an Approved Planned Unit Development Plan to Allow <br />for the Construction of a 4,900 Square Foot Building Located at <br />3880 Old Santa Rita Road <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift presented his report (SR 90:284) regarding the <br />matter. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer declared the public hearing open on the <br />application. <br /> <br /> There being no testimony, Mr. Mercer declared the public <br />hearing closed. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer inquired if hazardous waste had been uncovered in <br />the area and if the new building would have a place for that. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift replied that the property had not been checked for <br />hazardous waste and that the City's ordinance on hazardous waste <br />provides that there should be a place for such waste in the new <br />building. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, that <br />Resolution No. 90-137 be adopted, based on a review of an initial <br />environmental impact study done for this project and on a finding <br />that no significant environmental impact would occur as outlined in <br />the City's guidelines and on further finding that a negative <br />declaration is appropriate in connection with PUD-85-14-1M, the <br />application of Richard Guasco for a major modification to an <br />approved planned unit development plan to allow for the <br />construction of a 4,900 square foot building located at 3880 Old <br />Santa Rita Road. <br />The roll call vote was as follows: <br />AYES: Councilmember Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br />ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr stated that the landscaping plan did not provide for <br />any landscaping in the area between the back of the building and <br />the property line. She inquired if trees could be placed there. <br /> <br /> Mr. Swift replied that the Design Review Board decided at its <br />first work session on the project that it would not be necessary to <br />have trees in that area.
