MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCILMEMBERS <br /> <br /> Discussion on Ruby Hill Pro~ect Public Hearinq <br /> <br /> Ms. Mohr stated that the County will hold a public hearing in <br /> Dublin on Thursday night regarding the Ruby Hill project. She <br /> suggested that staff member attend the hearing to provide input for <br /> a subsequent interest of the Council. <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver indicated that he would be glad to attend the <br /> hearing. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer stated that the Minutes should provide information <br /> on the matter but that Mr. Tarver could attend if he wished to. <br /> <br /> Red Ribbon Week <br /> <br /> Mr. Tarver stated that he had received a letter from Ms. Betty <br /> Moens regarding Red Ribbon Week and the campaign to endorse the <br /> concept of a book cover for children to team up against drugs. He <br /> requested Council action endorsing the project. <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Tarver, and seconded by Mr. Brandes, to <br /> support Red Ribbon Week and endorse the project against drugs ..... <br /> The roll call vote was as follows: <br /> AYES: Councilmember Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor <br /> Mercer <br /> NOES: None <br /> ABSENT: None <br /> ABSTAIN: None <br /> <br /> Siqns <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer requested that when staff prepares the report on <br /> real estate signs, it include the large 4' x 8' signs that go on <br /> industrial properties. <br /> <br /> 9.
