It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms Mohr, that Resolution No. 90-102 be adopted, approving the appropriation limit of $30,785,144 for the Fiscal Year 1990-91. The roll call vote was as follows: AYES: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, Tarver and Mayor Mercer NOES: None ABSENT: None ABSTAIN: None Item 12d Approval of Rules and Requlations for Amador Theater Mr. Brandes stated since the Amador Theater is no longer part of Amador Valley High School and is now operated by the City, it might be appropriate to change the theater's name to encourage its utilization by other schools, especially Foothill High School. Mr. Mercer pointed out that this part of Pleasanton's heritage has been in Amador Valley High School for years and that he felt it would not be appropriate to change the name at this time. He added that competition between high schools is good, but that it should not deter the use of community facilities. He noted that Foothill High School uses Amador Valley High School's pool. Mr. Butler indicated that he was not in favor of changing the theater's name because there is a lot of historical significance attached to its name. It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Mr. Butler, to approve the rules and regulations for Amador Theater.
