271 Council Involvement in Development Projects Mr. Tarver inquired at what point in the process of development would it be appropriate and legal for Councilmembers to get involved with projects, whether to comment on them, make suggestions or meet with the developers or residents. He requested a report from the City Attorney on this matter. 9. CITY COUNCIL COMMITTEE REPORTS Mr. Butler stated that the Ridgelands Steering Committee has met twice and that there was complete agreement among Committee members about the concept of extending the sphere-of-influence line, with a majority vote to support the modified Palomares Road sphere-of-influence. On the other hand, there was disagreement to proceed at this time with an annexation recommendation. He mentioned that the Committee will meet again to look at how the General Citizens' Committee ought to function and the issues it should address. Ms. Mohr inquired if the Committee discussed the massive grading that is taking place under County approval on the western boundary of the sphere-of-influence. Mr. Butler replied that it did but that the grading is taking place west of the proposed line. 10. MATTERS CONTINUED FOR DECISION Item 10a An Ordinance Prezoninq an Approximately 2.15 Acre Site to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density Residential District Ms. Mohr stated that inquiries have been made with respect to this site being pulled out of the Specific Plan Study. She reiterated that this is still part of the Study and that the decision on the use of this property will still be determined by the results of that Study. It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that Ordinance No. 1464 be adopted, prezoning an approximately 2.15 acre site to the PUD (Planned Unit Development) - Medium Density Residential District.
