213 <br /> <br /> MINUTES <br /> OF <br /> THE MEETING <br /> OF <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL <br /> <br /> MAY 1, 1990 <br /> <br />1. CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br /> Mayor Kenneth R. Mercer called the Regular Meeting of the <br />City Council to order at 7:30 p.m. <br /> <br />2. ROLL CALL <br /> <br /> City Clerk Peggy L. Ezidro called the roll which is recorded <br />as follows: Councilmembers Brandes, Butler, Mohr, and Mayor <br />Mercer. Councilmember Tarver was absent. Staff members present <br />were: Ms. Acosta, City Manager; Mr. Roush, City Attorney; Mr. <br />Swift, Director of Planning and Community Development; Mr. <br />Elliott, Director of Public Works and Utilities; and Ms. Rossi, <br />Director of Finance. <br /> <br />3. AGENDA AMENDMENTS <br /> <br /> Ms. Acosta requested that Item 4o - Proclaim May 6-12, 1990 <br />as Victims of Pornoqraphy Week be added to the Consent Calendar. <br />She stated that a closed session will be held at the end of the <br />regular meeting to discuss labor relations. <br /> <br /> Mr. Brandes requested that the closed session include a <br />discussion on potential litigation as it relates to the recently <br />filed Initiative on the Ridgelands. <br /> <br />4. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> <br /> It was moved by Mr. Brandes, and seconded by Ms. Mohr, that <br />the following items listed on the Consent Calendar, as amended, be <br />approved: <br /> <br /> a. Approval of City Council Minutes for 4/17/90. <br /> <br /> b. Approval of Agreement with Camp Dresser & McKee, Inc. <br /> for inspection services for the Kottinger Ranch water <br /> pump and reservoir station, with A.T.E.E.M. Electrical <br /> Engineering performing the telemetry portion of the <br /> project, and approval of the Reimbursement Agreement <br /> with Westbrook Housing Development Company for repayment <br /> of the services. (SR 90:169) <br /> <br /> c. Approval of plans and specifications and authorization <br /> to call for bids for Project No. 907918, the renovation <br /> of the Harvest Park play area.
