He stated that the book "Progressive Pleasanton <br />1902" shows what Pleasanton could be proud of at the beginning of <br />the century and recommended it to the Councilmembers, particularly <br />Ms. Scribner, with regard to preserving the downtown area. <br /> <br />Fast Food Restaurants and Alcoholic Beverages in Pleasant Villagp <br />Center <br /> <br /> Mr. James Miller, 3633 Camelot Court, stated that most of the <br />tenants in Pleasant Village Center are fast food restaurants, which <br />are not allowed under Measure X. He also pointed out that <br />alcoholic beverages are not allowed as well but that one of the <br />tenants has applied for a license to serve alcoholic beverages. He <br />requested that the term "fast food" be defined and that Council <br />look into the matter of alcoholic beverages in the area. He added <br />that parking problems on Pimlico Drive still exist and requested <br />that the City enforce its "No Parking" regulation. <br /> <br /> Mr. Mercer asked Mr. Roush to check on the provisions of <br />Measure X for the property and to put down in writing the <br />definition of the term "fast food." <br /> <br /> - 5 - <br /> 12-11-90 <br /> <br /> <br />
