143 It was moved by Ms. Mohr, and seconded by Mr. Tarver, that Resolution No. 90-225 be adopted, determining that the matter of exempting the Pleasanton Downtown Association activities on December 22, 1990 from Ordinance No. 846 arose after the Agenda was posted and adding it to the Agenda. He stated that the book "Progressive Pleasanton 1902" shows what Pleasanton could be proud of at the beginning of the century and recommended it to the Councilmembers, particularly Ms. Scribner, with regard to preserving the downtown area. Fast Food Restaurants and Alcoholic Beverages in Pleasant Villagp Center Mr. James Miller, 3633 Camelot Court, stated that most of the tenants in Pleasant Village Center are fast food restaurants, which are not allowed under Measure X. He also pointed out that alcoholic beverages are not allowed as well but that one of the tenants has applied for a license to serve alcoholic beverages. He requested that the term "fast food" be defined and that Council look into the matter of alcoholic beverages in the area. He added that parking problems on Pimlico Drive still exist and requested that the City enforce its "No Parking" regulation. Mr. Mercer asked Mr. Roush to check on the provisions of Measure X for the property and to put down in writing the definition of the term "fast food." - 5 - 12-11-90
